Even before the first windmill was erected on the 2nd Wind Ranch the decoration of Christmas lights has been an annual event. Over 100,000 Christmas lights are wrapped around windmills, put high up in trees and found dangling from rooftops. Strewn from one end to the other they are truly an amazing sight with the addition of the surrounding neighbor's lights. The Christmas lights are beautiful compliments to the windmills during the Holidays but the meaning behind the work is something altogether different. As one sign put up during this time of the year says, "Jesus is the Reason." | |
