The Dempster House is a 106-year-old house built by a homesteader. Its name comes from Dempster Manufacturing, who for over 100 years has built the windmills that immediately surround it. Its a two story square house and its simplicity speaks with eloquence. A wrap-around porch and a porch-swing bring back a time when life was a lot less complicated but a lot harder. The view on all four corners is nothing short of amazing. The valley, the hills, the farm ground, and to top it all off, the World's Largest Standing Collection of Windmills!

The Dempster House serves as a beautifully decorated Bed & “Fix your own Breakfast.” Four bedrooms are completely refurbished to the era and each possess its own uniqueness.  A sitting room with a view of the windmills makes time fly by. There’s no greater get-away than one with the peace and tranquility of the country side.
